TSN.CA: reports the Boston Bruins tonight traded right winger Chuck Kobasew to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for winger Craig Weller, a second round pick in 2011 and the rights to prospect Alexander Fallstrom.

SPECTOR'S NOTE: Hat tip to "Jason" for the link. The Wild are desperate for offense especially with Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Cal Clutterbuck sidelined indefinitely. Kobasew is a former three-time twenty-plus goalscorer although in seven games this season he has no goals and one assist. I'll have further analysis of this deal on my blog.
