TSN's Bob McKenzie reported (via his Twitter account) the Philadelphia Flyers have placed defenseman Randy Jones on re-entry waivers.

CSNPHILLY.COM: Tim Panaccio reports Jones is recalled as Simon Gagne has been placed on long term injury reserve (LTIR).

SPECTOR'S NOTE: Jones was demoted due to cap issues and with Gagne on LTIR they can afford to call him up. He could be claimed by a rival team by noon ET on Thursday but I'm not expecting that to happen.
