He's ba-a-a-ck! Get the latest on yet another attempted comeback by Peter Forsberg.

TSN.CA: reported yesterday former NHL star Peter Forsberg will take yet another step on yet another attempted comeback by playing for Sweden in the upcoming Karjala Cup starting Thursday.

CSNPHILLY.COM/PHILLY.COM: reports Philadelphia Flyers scout Ilkka Sinisalo will be heading to Sweden to watch Forsberg play in the Karjala Cup, sparking rumors of a possible return with the Flyers.

DENVER POST: Adrian Dater reports it's uncertain for now if the Colorado Avalanche might have a scout at the tournament watching Forsberg but hopes to learn more. He's also heard rumors the Washington Capitals might be interested in Forsberg.

SPECTOR'S NOTE: Seems to me we've seen this film before....oh yeah, back in 2007! Maybe Forsberg will return again to the NHL, maybe he won't. As always, it depends on his surgically reconstructed foot.
