Carcillo receives contract extension.

ESPN CHICAGO reports the Blackhawks have re-signed forward Dan Carcillo to a two-year contract extension. Financial terms weren’t disclosed. Carcillo is currently sidelined recovering from January knee surgery.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: Carcillo was on a one-year, $775K contract with the Blackhawks. His performance prior to his injury has been characterized as “mixed”. Should be interesting to see what the financial terms are. He might receive a slight raise.

**UPDATE** As expected, he received a slight raise, as it’ll be worth $825k per season.
