Hamill dealt to Capitals.

The Boston Bruins and Washington Capitals made a swap of minor league forwards, shipping right wing Zach Hamill to the Washington Capitals in exchange for left wing Chris Bourque. Hamill, 23, played 16 games with the Bruins this season, while Bourque, 26, played last season with Hershey in the AHL. He’s also the son of Bruins hall of famer Ray Bourque.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: Remains to be seen if Hamill can crack the Capitals roster next season. As for Bourque, expect him to be in the minors next season.

I didn’t even know you could actually trade this time of year! hahaha

i really don’t see the point of this trade for the Bruins. Bourque will be a lifetime minor leaguer at 26 and still very little NHL experience.

Glad they finally traded Hamill, he will be a career minoe leaguer to. He has looked bad in all but a few of the games he has played for the Bruins in my opinion.
