Pouliot dealt to Lightning.

The Boston Bruins have reportedly dealt Benoit Pouliot to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Details to follow…

**UPDATE** Heading to Boston is minor league winger Michel Ouellet and a fifth round pick in 2012.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: Pouliot is a restricted free agent but the Bruins weren’t planning to retain him. The Lightning will be the fourth team in three seasons he’s played for. He’s got good size and a decent scoring touch, but he’s never fulfilled the lofty expectations of being a high draft pick (fourth overall in 2005).

  1. Nick Badgio says:

I suppose this means the Bruins feel very confident with Jordan Caron being a regular in the line up.
