One day after being bought out by the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Montreal Canadiens have signed right wing Colby Armstrong to a one-year, $1 million contract.
SPECTOR’S NOTE: Armstrong is thrilled to be joining the team he cheered for growing up, but he’s also hoping to prove he can still play well as a checking forward in the NHL after injuries hampered his two seasons in Toronto.
