The Phoenix Coyotes have re-signed forward Radim Vrbata to a three-year, $9 million contract.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: Good news for the Coyotes, as Vrbata was a key part of their offense the past couple of years, and has had his best seasons with the ‘Yotes. It remains to be seen, of course, if the Coyotes remain in Arizona after this season, but at least he’s made a commitment to the team. It’s also the same cap hit ($3 million per season) as it was under his previous contract.
