SPECTOR’S NOTE: Altogether, Flames fans: TRUCULENCE!!!  Bollig is a big, physical checking-line winger, who’ll provide additional grit to the Flames checking lines. He’s also willing to drop the gloves when required.

This is a straight-up salary dump by the Blackhawks, who were roughly $479K over next season’s cap ceiling when it was announced yesterday the cap would only reach $69 million, instead of the projected $71 million. Bollig starts a three-year deal next season worth an average cap hit of $1.25 million.
