The Winnipeg Jets have signed former Islanders goalie Al Montoya to a one-year, $601K contract.
SPECTOR’S NOTE: So much for Montoya going to Vancouver to back up Cory Schneider. Good move by the Jets to land an affordable backup for Ondrej Pavelec.
