Veteran NHL goaltender Patrick Lalime has announced his retirement. He played 12 seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Ottawa Senators (where he enjoyed his best seasons), St. Louis Blues, Chicago Blackhawks and Buffalo Sabres.

Spector’s note: In 444 regular season games, Lalime has a record of 200-177-16, with a career GAA of 2.58, save percentage of .905 and 35 shutouts. His playoff record was 21-20, with a GAA of 1.77, SP of .926 with 5 shutouts
