Latest on Locked-out NHL’ers in Europe – September 30, 2012.

Pavel Datsyuk has a multi-assist game, Erik Karlsson makes an impressive debut for Jokerit, and an update on Rick Nash’s shoulder injury.

Datsyuk dazzles in KHL.

KHL.RU: Detroit Red Wings center Pavel Datsyuk had a pair of assists as CSKA Moscow shut out Avtomobilist 3-0. Former Canadien and Predator Andrei Kostitsyn, meanwhile, had a goal helping Traktor Chelyabinsk down Lev Prague 5-2.

OTTAWA SUN: Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson had an impressive debut with Finland’s Jokerit, scoring the game-opening goal as Jokerit downed HPK 5-1.

TSN.CA: NY Rangers winger Rick Nash is listed as “day-to-day” as an MRI showed no serious damage to a shoulder he injured during a game with HC Davos on Friday.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: The Rangers and their fans are undoubtedly breathing a sigh of relief. Of course, if this entire upcoming NHL season is lost to a lockout, then it would’ve been a moot point.
