HOKEJ.CZ: Tomas Plekanec’s two goals (set up by Jaromir Jagr) weren’t enough to prevent Kladno from falling 4-3 to HC Slavia Praha.

Patrick Kane scored in a losing cause, as EHC Biel dropped a 3-2 decision to SCL Tigers.

NBC SPORTS PRO HOCKEY TALK: Alexander Semin has two goals and seven points in eight games for Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod, but feels his conditioning still isn’t where it needs to be.

Agent Alan Walsh took to Twitter to deny reports his client, goaltender Jaroslav Halak, had signed with the KHL’s Spartak Moscow.

  1. In fact, it has just been announced that Halak has signed 4-week-deal with Germany’s Tier 2-Team Lausitzer Füchse (former GDR, not too far away from Crimmitschau that has apparently seen amazing performances by Simmonds and Stewart).
