Rinne collects first KHL shutout.

NBC SPORTS PRO HOCKEY TALK: Pekka Rinne got his first KHL shutout, turning aside 27 shots backstopping Dinamo Minsk to a 2-0 win over Dinamo Riga .

HOKEJ.CZ: Jaromir Jagr had a four-point night (one goal, three assists) and Tomas Plekanec collected three points (two goals, one assist) as Kladno thumped Chomutov 7-2.  Marek Zidlicky had three assists and Jiri Tlusty also had three points (one goal, two assists) for Kladno…Ales Hemsky had a hat trick as Pardubice downed HC Slavia Praha 5-2.

DEL: Claude Giroux’s two assists weren’t enough for Eisbaren Berlin, which fell to Dusseldorf 4-3 in a shootout…Jamie Benn picked up an assist as the Hamburg Freezers downed Ingolstadt 5-2.
