KUKLA’S KORNER: reports the Tampa Bay Lightning have agreed to terms on a two-year, one-way contract with former Minnesota Wild forward Antti Miettinen, who began this season playing for AK Bars Kazan of the KHL.
SPECTOR’S NOTE: Miettinen had two forty-plus point seasons with the Wild in 2008-09 and 2009-10. The Lightning have been struggling offensively in recent weeks, so they may be looking to Miettinen to provide a bit of a boost. He had eight points in 20 games in the KHL this season.










Sadly for Bolts fans, if he plays like he did in Minnesota, they can expect dozens off glorious scoring chances in which “Mittens” misses the net completely…
