  1. Lyle, I tried to write a comment on S. Wazz’s Blog page but his comment section is NOT user-friendly! His article was not an informed piece of literature… His complaint was so off-hand dismissal of the Canes defensive ability, w/o any specifics it was silly. Team D is more important, and less discussed, than the ever-popular character-assination!(hyperbole)
    As usual when people talk about Defense they always ignore the forwards resposibilities, and denigrate any and all D-men, and the real victim…mr goalie!
    This year the Canes have a group of mobile D-men (when you see Murphy i think you’ll be impressed), and the addition of J Staal will also be a big help for the team D. –Scotty could have done a better job!
