Where will future Winter Classics be held?

PUCK DADDY: Greg Wyshynski speculates on future locations for the next several Winter Classics. Interestingly, Phoenix isn’t among the destinations, though I’m intrigued by the thought of one day ” watching the Winter Classic in our flying cars as the Seattle Bigfoots play Avangard Omsk on the friggin’ moon …

THE STRANGEST ONE OF ALL: Scotty Wazz chimes in with his two cents on the Winter Classic, suggesting perhaps it should be put on the shelf for a bit to freshen it up. The NHL, however, will disagree.

BACKHAND SHELF: Looks at the top ten all-time Winter Classic moments. Mercifully, Sidney Crosby getting his brain scrambled from a blindside hit isn’t among them.

NIGHTMARE ON HELM STREET: A plea for the Red Wings to renovate, rather than abandon, the Joe Louis Arena. Sadly, I think Mike Illich would prefer a great, big shiny new cookie cutter arena, devoid of character.

THE HOCKEY WRITERS: Five players the San Jose Sharks should target. Most of the guys listed, except for Olli Jokinen, should be available.

DOWN GOES BROWN: presents a peek inside Gary Bettman’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve party. Not for the squeamish!
