  1. Maybe if Burke didn’t chirp with the media and throw himself into it all the time they wouldn’t be so involved and vicious. If he hut his mouth more often than not and didn’t address all of them all the time perhaps they wouldnt have such strong opinions? I don’t know. Maybe if he didn’t say the team would make the playoffs and say that he was offered 4 first rounders for some of his players (then trade no one) they wouldn’t be all over him? He’s really quiet now because he played his last card in firing the coach and now the targets, rightfully, on him.

    During JFJ’s tenure the leafs had their highest point total of the last 7 years…. Ouch….
