  1. The leafs are hilarious, what a joke. They are so desperate for any reason to celebrate anything. It’s like they are trying to remind their fan base of the good old days even though they were a half century ago.

    • As a Leafs fan, I’m embarrassed because I know this just gives fuel to “Leafs-haters” but at the same time, I was really put off by Liewicke’s plans to remove all the pictures of past Leafs greats from the ACC. I think this is in-part a make-up for those plans, which Johnny Bower quickly put an end to.

    • Ya hilarious because no other teams (like the Habs 10 times a year) do anything like that to honor the traditions of great teams they had in the past….moron. That team (or alot of earlier champions) never got cup rings, its a nice touch.

  2. You even know why they are giving out the rings? It’s because in the early days they didn’t give out a ring for each cup win. So this is the Leafs making up for that.
