Will P.K. Subban be re-signed before his arbitration date?

TVA SPORTS: P.K. Subban was among 20 NHL players to file for arbitration, but his agent Don Meehan claims negotiations with the Canadiens will continue. Both sides could reach an agreement on a deal (long or short) before Subban’s arbitration date, which will be sometime between July 20 and August 4.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: I’ll be surprised if Subban isn’t re-signed prior to his arbitration date

  1. its almost like spring time, love is in the air for all NHL clubs right now….lol

Connor Brown has to start putting some meat on if he wants to be an NHLer, I know size isn’t what it used to be in todays game but the game here in Kingston last year he looked like a twig. I see the Leafs site has him at 170, Id be surprised if he is that and 20 years old not likely to grow much more. Somebody get that boy a sandwich, maybe he could stay at Phils house?

  2. Why anybody talks about young defensemen of Edmonton when they’ve got signed such a ………… perfect players…… like Nikitin of Fayne and there obviously is no place to play.

    • Oh that’s easy. David Staples article is really the next list of promising Oilers prospects that will be rushed and ruined.

      • I think Fayne will be the best UFA signing this year…not sure anout a lot of other things about the Oilers but, 1 thing I am sure of is that for the money he signed for Fayne is a good pickup.

    • Nikitin, Fayne, Shultz and Aulie? (If he pans out). That leave 3 positions for the kids. Not all will be ready in the same year. The rest will be traded.
