MONTREAL GAZETTE/NEW YORK POST: Canadiens goaltender Carey Price and Rangers netminder Henrik Lundqvist will be in the spotlight in the Eastern Conference Final. Rangers coach Alain Vigneault doesn’t intend to give the Canadiens an excuse to play the “respect card”.  Canadiens forward Alex Galchenyuk (lower-body injury) could return to action during this series.

VANCOUVER SUN: The Canucks are courting Boston Bruins assistant GM Jim Benning for their general manager position, but now there’s a risk he could sign with the Penguins, who fired their GM Ray Shero yesterday.

EDMONTON JOURNAL: A look at how much cap space the Oilers have to work with this summer.

CALGARY HERALD/CALGARY SUN: The Flames new farm team will be known as the Adirondack Flames, who will wear the “Flaming A” the NHL franchise last wore when they were the Atlanta Flames.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: Hat tip to the Flames marketing department for resurrecting an emblem from their past. Always did like that “Flaming A” logo.
