The Calgary Flames and Montreal Canadiens have interest in former NHL coach Bob Hartley, but is he even available?

CALGARY SUN: The Flames and Montreal Canadiens are thought to have interest in former NHL head coach Bob Hartley as a candidate for their respective vacant head coaching positions, but it’s possible he might not be available. Hartley currently finished the first year of a two-year contract with Swiss team Zurich Lions, whose owner claims Hartley isn’t available.

CANOE.CA: Sources told TVA Sports Canadiens management will meet with Hartley to resolve the contract issue.

MONTREAL GAZETTE: The Canadiens have named former St. Louis Blues assistant coach Scott Mellanby director of player personnel.
