MONTREAL GAZETTE/BOSTON HERALD: Canadiens forward Dale Weise’s postseason play is earning him rock star treatment in Montreal, while the Bruins need more from goalie Tuukka Rask in their series against the Habs.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: Rask is a Vezina finalist this season but for some reason he tends to struggle against the Canadiens. 

VANCOUVER PROVINCE: Canucks winger Alex Burrows is hoping his participation in this year’s World Championships can provide a resurgence in his game.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: Burrows was hampered by injuries this season and struggled under former coach John Tortorella. 

CALGARY HERALD: New Flames GM Brad Treliving’s top priority is moving his family to Calgary.

EDMONTON JOURNAL: Jonathan Willis believes there’s nothing wrong with Will Acton, even if he represents what’s wrong with the Oilers.

  1. What’s nice about Weise, and Subban for that matter, is that they grew up big time Canadiens fans. These guys are living their childhood dreams and it shows.

    Bruins are a excellent hockey team and I can only hope the Canadiens can keep up their good play to take the B’s out.
