OTTAWA CITIZEN: Goals by Kyle Turris, Mika Zibanejad and Clarke MacArthur lifted the Senators to a 3-2 win over the Florida Panthers. It was a rare win for the Sens over Panthers goalie Tim Thomas, who was 23-9-2 lifetime against Ottawa.

VANCOUVER PROVINCE: Roberto Luongo was pulled after giving up four goals on 18 shots as the road-weary Canucks were thumped 5-1 by the Los Angeles Kings.

EDMONTON SUN: The Oilers fell 4-2 to the Philadelphia Flyers in a game notable for Flyers captain Claude Giroux finally scoring his first goal of the season.

  1. Can’t state enough how disappointing the play of the Leafs was minus one period against the Bruins …WOW ! If this was a reaction game to getting there lunch handed to them and there stanley cup dreams ripped from there hands Dave Nonis has a lot of work to do.

Iam really tired of Dion Phaneuf Iam done with him and will officially announce my Trade Dion wish !!
The last play of the game says it all and why you DON”T resign this guy for $1 dollar and rip that captain C from his shirt ASAP ….disgusting effort !! Hes terrible in front of his own net as well.

Reimer and Bernier have to play the season out together 50 / 50 for the Leafs to have any legit shot at anything !!! They are both the life and breathe of this team !!

The Defense needs a SERIOUS overall …..If I see Paul Ranger in another game instead of Morgan Reilly its official that the Leafs have no hockey sense….. AT ALL !!!

MY Leaf GM moves for Monday morning :

    1) Demote Paul Ranger if he gets picked up on waivers …oh well !!!
Bring up Mc Williams instead who is bigger and plays the body and is just BETTER !!!!as almost anyone else woulk be !!!

    2) Demote the ever slow Troy Bodie and stop playing both Mclaren and Orr on the same night STUPID we need more goals !!

    3) PLEASE bring back Josh Leivo …PLEASE !!!…I am begging you !!

    4) Seriously look at Trading Dion Phaneuf …my target would be Tyler Myers or Gudbranson in a broader deal !

    5) Trade Nik Kulimen & a second to :

Calgary for Baertschi ( play maker )
    or
Panthers for Flieshman ( quality Center )
    or
Rangers for Boyle ( physical )
    or
New Jersey for Ryder ( just keeps on scoring CLUTCH on a good team & stanley cup ring )

    • Hey BC don’t take offense but the Bruins are a well balanced hockey club. There are not too many teams who match up with in every position. They have the confidence and the psychological edge over a lot of teams. Now about Dion even Brent Sutter would almost seemed exasperated with Dion’s inconsistency, it’d appeared sometimes he’d rile Dion to make him play mad/ better. Yet trying to trade him for Tyler Myers well he too is a project not a quick fix. Orr and Mclaren had to play the Bruins in order to match up. Ranger is a project too. As for your Kulemin trades Calgary no Florida yes Rangers no and NJ no.
