MONTREAL GAZETTE: Canadiens goalie Carey Price has spent the past month split between his Kelowna, BC home and in Washington State with the Tri-Cities Americans, where he played his Junior hockey.

OTTAWA SUN: Hockey Night in Canada personality Don Cherry criticized Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson for suggesting there wasn’t a need for the NHLPA to conduct a secret ballot vote on the league’s latest proposal.

WINNIPEG SUN: Gary Lawless contrasts Ron Hainsey’s edge in NHL CBA negotiations with his soft play on the ice. Lawless doubts Hainsey will be blackballed once the lockout ends, but noted Hainsey’s style of play ensures he won’t get a contract as lucrative as his current one.
