Nugent-Hopkins questionable for Sunday’s game.

EDMONTON JOURNAL: Ryan Nugent-Hopkins took a stick to the mouth during Friday’s AHL games between his Oklahoma City Barons and the Houston Aeros, requiring dental work. He’s uncertain for Sunday’s game against the Texas Stars.

CANOE.CA: Montreal Canadiens defenseman Andrei Markov left a recent KHL game with a suspected injury. A subsequent report by Francois Gagnon, however, revealed Markov left the game due to being winded after receiving a hit, but it wasn’t serious.

CALGARY SUN: Flames defenseman Chris Butler voiced his disappointment over the cancellation of the NHL’s November schedule as the lockout drags on.

WINNIPEG FREE PRESS: Jets forward Olli Jokinen and defenseman Mark Stuart, as well as New Jersey Devils forward Travis Zajac, also weighed in on the recent news of the cancellation of the November games.
