WASHINGTON POST: Troy Brouwer scored twice and Alexander Ovechkin notched the game winner lifting the Washington Capitals to a 5-4 win over the Florida Panthers. Capitals forward Mikhail Grabovski left the game in the first period with an ankle injury and didn’t return.
DALLAS MORNING NEWS: Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn each scored in the Dallas Stars 4-1 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes. Eric Staal scored for the Hurricanes.
NEW YORK POST: Derick Brassard and Rick Nash scored and Cam Talbot made 31 saves as the New York Rangers held on for a 2-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks.
NJ.COM: Adam Henrique scored twice to lift the New Jersey Devils to a 5-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.
THE TENNESSEAN: Three unanswered power-play goals by Matt Cullen, Roman Josi and Patric Hornqvist rallied the Nashville Predators to a 3-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning. Martin St. Louis scored both Lightning goals.

TRIBLIVE.COM: Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang revealed the details of the stroke which has currently sidelined him. He said his wife discovered him lying on the bedroom floor, alert but unable to function. He hasn’t ruled out returning to the lineup at some point in the spring.
LOS ANGELES TIMES: Teemu Selanne returns to the Anaheim Ducks lineup riding high from his Olympic performance. Selanne led Finland to a bronze medal in men’s hockey and was named the tournament’s most valuable player.
NEW YORK POST: Olympic insurance will go into effect for NHL players injured in the Olympic after missing 10 NHL games.
DENVER POST: The Colorado Avalanche have re-signed forward Marc-Andre Cliche to a two-year contract extension worth $700K per season.
