ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH: The Blues rebounded from their 7-1 drubbing by the New Jersey Devils with a 2-1 win over the New York Rangers. Jaroslav Halak made 34 saves for the win.
TRIBLIVE.COM: The Pittsburgh Penguins rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to down the New York Islanders 6-4. Sidney Crosby and Chris Kunitz had three-point performances.
COLUMBUS DISPATCH: The surging Blues Jackets commemorated the 1000th game in franchise history with a 5-2 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers. Sergei Bobrovsky made 26 saves for the win against his former team.
