STLTODAY.COM: The Blues rallied from a 2-0 deficit with four unanswered third period goals to defeat the Phoenix Coyotes 4-2, handing Ryan Miller his first victory with the Blues. Patrik Berglund scored twice in the Blues rally.

BOSTON HERALD: Tuukka Rask made 39 saves and Dougie Hamilton collected three points as the Boston Bruins downed the New York Rangers 6-3.

LOS ANGELES TIMES: Corey Perry scored twice as the Anaheim Ducks leaped to a 5-0 lead and held off a late rally by the Carolina Hurricanes to win 5-3.

DENVER POST: Four goals by Colorado Avalanche defensemen (including two by Nick Holden) lifted the club to a 6-3 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

MERCURYNEWS.COM: Goals by Raffi Torres, Matt Nieto and Patrick Marleau rallied the San Jose Sharks to a 4-2 win over the New Jersey Devils.

PHILLY.COM: Claude Giroux scored twice and Vincent Lecavalier tallied in overtime as the Philadelphia Flyers rallied to a 5-4 victory over the Washington Capitals. Capitals defenseman Dmitry Orlov could face suspension for boarding Flyers forward Brayden Schenn.

MIAMI HERALD: Four unanswered goals (including two by Scottie Upshall) lifted the Florida Panthers to a 5-3 win over the New York Islanders. Thomas Vanek scored twice for the Islanders.

PIONEER PRESS: Mikko Koivu and Marco Scandella could return to the Minnesota Wild lineup tonight against the Calgary Flames.

THE BUFFALO NEWS: The Sabres front office is once again in upheaval, this time in the wake of Pat LaFontaine’s resignation as president of hockey operations. There’s speculation head coach Ted Nolan could be next out the door.
