LOS ANGELES TIMES: Justin Williams got his 500th career point, Dan Carcillo scored his first goal as a King and Ben Scrivens made 20 saves for the shutout as the Kings blanked the Florida Panthers 3-0.

DENVER POST: Despite a 5-0 start, the Colorado Avalanche are far from perfect, ranking 26th in the league in shots-against, 17th in faceoff wins and 14th in PIMs.
