  1. Seems to me that the trades he’s made for players in the league are not based on sound information. This year MG has to bring in new Pro Scouts. To many pick ups have been a disaster and end up acting like anchors for a long time and not permitting the team to move forward.

    It’s not all bad but neither is it overwhelmingly good. Maybe you could say he’s average. His access to many GM’s is compromised by his days a a hard nosed agent IMO

    The amateur picks for the most part have been OK considering where we select. I believe MG has changed his emphasis and won’t be caught by the league office changing direction and making a pick that doesn’t suit the current game ( Schroeder was selected when the NHL was making repeated assertion that they intended to clean up the game they failed )

    But at the end of the day when was the last time in a 5 year period has the team won two Presidents trophy and gone to game 7 of the SC. It’s not just smoke and mirrors
