Parise fortunate to escape serious injury in win over Capitals.

NJ.COM: Zach Parise scored a hat trick but also was fortunate to escape serious injury after taking a stick to the jaw in the Devils 5-0 win over the Washington Capitals.

MLIVE.COM: Valtteri Filppula continues to enjoy a breakout season, leading the Red Wings over the Minnesota Wild 6-0 with two goals and an assist.

TWINCITIES.COM: Minnesota Wild goalie Nicklas Backstrom could miss the remainder of the season due to a groin injury suffered in Thursday’s game against Montreal.
