NHL Trade Deadline Rumors – Part 3.

Another collection of trade rumors (as of noon ET) from the punditry, courtesy of Twitter.

SPORTSNET’s Nick Kypreos: “#Leafs still very confident they can get Grabovski signed even at a later date. Unlikely he will be moved by 3pm.”

TSN’s Darren Dreger: “Wpg considering the interest expressed in Oduya. Boston among the teams in the hunt. Bruins also in on Avs David Jones.”

ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER’s Eric Stephens: “Figure that GM Bob Murray is taking calls on Blake, Hagman and Visnovsky. Not saying he’s moving them.”

ESPN BOSTON’s James Murphy:” With regards to rumors of Ryan Malone to Boston, if that happens, Boston needs to move roster player back. They have no 2nd or 4th rd picks”

TSN/ESPN.com’s Pierre LeBrun: “Preds may not be done. Still looking to add if price is right. They’re going for it !”

THE SPORTING NEWS‘ Craig Custance: “Vokoun has a no-trade clause and has not been asked to waive it.”

TSN RADIO 990’s Tony Marinaro: “Yes several NHL teams have interest in Habs Ryan White But I am hearing that its not Habs intention to trade him.”

  1. Flyers should have grabbed Vokoun in the offseason instead of Bryzgalov … and not only gotten a better goalie but saved quite a bit of cash. Hindsight is what it is … coulda, shoulda.

  2. If Malone goes to Boston, what about Krejci going back? His name has been thrown out as trade bait….and he seems to be on or headed for the third line in Boston.

  3. Murph,

Although I wouldn’t be opposed to giving up David Krejci because I firmly feel he’s under performed for more then just this season alone, I believe all current roster players are untouchable according to the Boston Bruins blog which follows Peter Chiarelli and sources close to Boston.

It would appear the Bruins are after Jones and Oduya, and may be the front runners for both. Only sourcing various hockey news, blogs, twitters, and trade rumors. I guess we’ll see soon.
