Gaustad remains with the Predators.

The Nashville Predators tonight re-signed center Paul Gaustad to a four-year, $13 million contract, worth an average annual cap hit of $3.25 million. Gaustad was eligible for UFA status on July 1, and joined the Predators in a trade with the Buffalo Sabres at the NHL trade deadline in February. It’s a good raise from the $2.3 million per season earned on his previous deal.
