Mason returns to Nashville.
The Nashville Predators have signed former Jets backup goalie Chris Mason to a one-year, $1.25 million(plus bonuses) contract.
SPECTOR’S NOTE: For Mason, it’s a return to where his NHL career began, and where at one point he seemed poised to become their full time starter. He’ll be backing up Pekka Rinne next season.
