Ennis re-ups with Sabres for two years.

TSN’s Bob McKenzie reports the Buffalo Sabres have re-signed forward Tyler Ennis to a two-year deal, worth an average cap hit of $2.8125 million.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: Ennis is coming off his entry level deal, and this is a decent signing for he and the Sabres. Not too long of a deal, and not too much. He’s shown considerable promise over the past 2 1/2 seasons, and if he fulfills it will be in line for a significantly larger raise in two years time.

About $300K more a year than I thought and I was hoping a 3 year deal – but I think it works. Now if the Union and League can get itselves together.
