Sharks Ship Galiardi to Flames.

CSNBAYAREA.COM: Kevin Kurz reports the San Jose Sharks have traded winger T.J. Galiardi to the Calgary Flames for a future draft pick.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: Galiardi became expendable when the Sharks acquired Tyler Kennedy on NHL Draft day. The 25-year-old Galiardi has decent size and is an energetic, pesky checker who can play either wing or center. He’s a restricted free agent but shouldn’t be an expensive re-signing for the Flames.

*UPDATE* The Flames have re-signed Galiardi to a one-year, $1.25 million contract, while the Sharks will receive a fourth round pick in 2015.

  1. Dammit Wilson, that McGinn trade looks real good now doesn’t it? With TJ in Calgary, and Winnik in Anaheim, what do we have left from that trade now?
