Schultz comes through in OT for the Barons.

THE AHL.COM: Taylor Hall and Justin Schultz scored as the Oklahoma City Barons edged the Abbotsford Heat 2-1 in OT. Schultz’s goal was the winner. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Jordan Eberle each picked up an assist.

Chris Kreider had two assists as the Connecticut Whale down the Worcester Sharks 6-2.

Marcus Foligno had a three-point night (one goal, two asssists) as the Rochester Americans defeated the Syracuse Crunch 5-2.

Slava Voynov collected two assists as the Manchester Monarchs blanked the Providence Bruins 3-0.

Jake Gardiner had an assist in the Toronto Marlies 5-3 win over the San Antonio Rampage. Nazem Kadri had a goal and two assists for the Marlies, while Joe Colborne notched a goal and an assist in the winning effort.

Cam Barker picked up three assists in a losing cause as the Texas Stars fell in overtime to the Lake Erie Monsters 5-4.

  1. God I would love to have Foligno skating on the wing with the Oilers kids……that kind of WOW trade I am for big time….

    If the league loses the season…..whats the over/under for Kadri re-signing with the leafs…….I have a feeling it might be interesting to see him come to the MLG in a different uniform.
