The Anaheim Ducks have avoided salary arbitration with recently-acquired forward Andrew Cogliano, re-signing him to a three-year deal. Sportsnet’s Nick Kypreos reports via Twitter Cogliano will receive $2.15 million next season, $2.350 million in 2012-13, and $2.670 million in 2013-14.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: That’s a grand total of $7.17 million, for an average cap hit of $2.39 million per season. Nice little raise for Cogliano, who earned $1 million last season on a one-year contract.
