EDMONTON JOURNAL/VANCOUVER PROVINCE: Eric David Perron’s hat trick powered the Edmonton Oilers to a 4-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks. Canucks forward Jordan Schroeder tallied both goals for his club which went in off Oilers defenseman Corey Potter.

TORONTO SUN: Phil Kessel and James van Riemsdyk are nursing minor injuries but are expected to be in the lineup when the Maple Leafs face the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: With the Leafs jockeying for a playoff berth they cannot afford to lose their top two forwards.
