SPECTOR’S NOTE: Gagner’s arbitration hearing is slated for today. We’ll either find out today what his new contract is (if he and the Oilers avoid arbitration and agree to a new contract), or within the next week as we await the arbiter’s decision.
WINNIPEG FREE PRESS: Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff will be busy this week, as Bryan Little (July 24) is slated for arbitration on Wednesday, while Blake Wheeler (July 29) and Zach Bogosian (August 2) will have their meetings next week.
SPECTOR’S NOTE: As I’ve noted before, it’ll be interesting to see if the Jets can avoid arbitration with the trio.
