CALGARY HERALD/MONTREAL GAZETTE:  Flames rookie Sean Monahan continues to make a strong case for remaining with the club this season, scoring again to help his club down the Montreal Canadiens 3-2.

OTTAWA SUN: The Senators rallied from a 3-0 deficit against the LA Kings to force overtime, only to fall 4-3 as Jeff Carter scored only 28 seconds into the extra frame. Senators forward Bobby Ryan scored his first goal of the season and set up another, while Kings captain Dustin Brown scored twice.
