The latest on Patrick Kane, P.A. Parenteau and Marek Zidlicky.

ESPN.COM:reports NBC hockey analyst Jeremy Roenick believes the Chicago Blackhawks can afford to deal forward Patrick Kane, especially for a goaltending upgrade.

GM Chuck Fletcher, however, called the report “very premature”, saying he’d had no indication from the Zidlicky camp he was ready to waive his clause, nor has he asked Zidlicky to do so. Fletcher did say that doesn’t mean Zidlicky won’t be moved between now and the trade deadline.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: It remains to be seen if Zidlicky goes to the Devils or somewhere else, but he apparently wants to be moved and Fletcher appears to be talking to several teams. Time will tell…
