Various sources now claiming it appears to be a done deal. Awaiting word on the return.

**UPDATE** ESPN’s Pierre LeBrun reports the return is a second round pick in 2013 and return the conditional pick they got from the Habs in the Hal Gill trade.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: The Predators have been in the market for scoring depth. Kostitsyn, who’ll be reunited with brother Sergei, should help boost their offensive production, as long as he’s properly motivated. Mind you, his brother’s performance improved after coming to Nashville and playing for coach Barry Trotz, so it wouldn’t be surprising if Andrei responds the same way.
