Reborn in Dallas.

RED LIGHT DISTRICT HOCKEY BLOG: presents the top five surprises of October, which includes the return of Jaromir Jagr and Sheldon Souray’s rebirth in Dallas.

BROAD STREET HOCKEY: Bemoans the lack of secondary scoring on the Flyers in recent games.

SILVER SEVEN: Wondering where the “Shanabanhammer” was for Wojtek Wolski’s blindside hit on Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: I’ve been wondering that myself.

THE STRANGEST ONE OF ALL: Scotty Wazz on Kyle Wellwood’s impressive performance thus far with the Winnipeg Jets.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: Those tired Wellwood fat jokes aren’t being heard as often or as loudly in recent weeks. He’s starting to silence his critics.

MC79HOCKEY.COM: Tyler Dellow delves further into the Dallas Stars bankruptcy paperwork, and the losses incurred in recent years.

WINGING IT IN MOTOWN: Calling out a Wings blogger who plagiarized material from a Red Wings beat writer.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: People who pass off the work of others as their own are lazy, self-serving scumbags, who make all bloggers look bad, making it more difficult for  honest, serious bloggers to be taken seriously around the NHL.

PUCK DADDY: Sean Leahy present a funny video of a Swedish player who scores a goal and then celebrates by inadvertently hugging an opponent. The outcome, as you can imagine, was predictable!

DAYS OF Y’ORR: presents a new credit card commercial starring Tim Thomas (who’s not a bad actor), and compares them with other commercials starring Bruins of the past.

FLYERS GOAL SCORED BY: A Sabres fan is seeking a date for Wednesday’s game against the Flyers.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: Nothing wrong with trying to play matchmaker, though I dunno if looking something like Justin Bieber is a good thing…;)

PENSION PLAN PUPPETS: In honor of “Movember”, a look back at great Maple Leafs moustaches of the past, and yes, Wendel Clark and Lanny McDonald are among them.
