Senators push Rangers to brink of elimination with Game Five victory, Canucks need Sedins to step up if they’re to avoid an early playoff exit, and the Canadiens return Mike Cammalleri’s sweater.

Anderson blanks Rangers in Game Five.

OTTAWA SUN: Goaltender Craig Anderson stole a game for his team with a 41-save, 2-0 shutout, pushing the Rangers to the verge of elimination, with Jason Spezza scoring both goals. The Senators could also have captain Daniel Alfredsson back in the lineup for Game Six on Monday.

VANCOUVER PROVINCE: If the Sedin Twins are to have a signature playoff moment, now is the time to have it, as the Canucks will try to stave off elimination in Game Six tonight against the LA Kings. Teammate Maxim Lapierre, meanwhile, continues to walk a fine line between aggressiveness and stupidity.

NATIONAL POST: Montreal Canadiens owner Geoff Molson has returned the last game jersey worn by former Hab Mike Cammalleri free of charge, with a hand-written note thanking him for his service to the team. Cammalleri had asked on the night he was dealt to the Calgary Flames (January 12th) if he could keep the jersey but was told (apparently by then-GM Pierre Gauthier) he had to pay for it. Yet another reason why “The Grey Ghost” is no longer Habs GM.
