ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER/STLTODAY.COM: Bobby Ryan scored the game-tying goal and Corey Perry the game winner as the Anaheim Ducks doubled up the St. Louis Blues 4-2.

DENVER POST/SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS: Matt Duchene scored in the last second of overtime as the Colorado Avalanche downed the San Jose Sharks 3-2. The loss was a tough one for Sharks forward Patrick Marleau, whose 400th career NHL goal sparked his team to erase a 2-0 deficit to force overtime.

NEW YORK DAILY NEWS/WASHINGTON POST: Brian Boyle’s first goal of the season snapped a 1-1 tie and lifted the NY Rangers to a 4-1 win over the Washington Capitals.

COLUMBUS DISPATCH/DETROIT FREE PRESS: Matt Calvert got the winner in a shootout as the Columbus Dispatch nipped the Detroit Red Wings 3-2, sweeping a home-and-home series.
